TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Browsing data
Computer systems and software procedures in charge of the website's functioning, over the course of an average fiscal year, acquire some personal data whose broadcasting is involved in the communications protocol of the internet. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes: IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site; the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources; the time of the request; the method used to submit the request to the server; the size of the file obtained in response; the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.); and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment. This data is used to obtain anonymous statistical information about the site's use and to control its correct functioning. It is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical cyber crimes against the site. Except for this possibility, at present the data on web contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the site's pages for particular services on request.

INFORMATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES
The website www.mediberg.com uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the correct functioning of the procedures and improve the experience of using online applications. This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and similar technologies, on how they are used by www.mediberg.com and on how to manage them.

Definition
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire cookies. Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and/or numbers) that allow the web server to store information on the customer (the browser) to be reused during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even after days (persistent cookies). According to the user's preferences, cookies are stored by the single browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Without these cookies some necessary services, such as filling out a form for a competition, cannot be used.

Similar technologies, such as web beacons, transparent GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information on user behaviour and the use of services. In the remainder of this document, we will refer to cookies and all similar technologies by simply using the term "cookies".

Types of cookies
a) Strictly necessary cookies: these are cookies essential for the correct functioning of the website www.mediberg.com and are used to manage login and access to the website's reserved functions. The cookies' duration is strictly limited to the work session (when the browser is closed they are deleted). Their deactivation compromises the use of the services accessible by logging in. The public part of the website www.mediberg.com can still be used normally.

b) Analysis and performance cookies: these are cookies used to anonymously collect and analyse site traffic and use of the site. Even without identifying the user, these cookies make it possible, for example, to detect if the same user returns to connect at different times. They also make it possible to monitor the system and improve its performance and usability. These cookies can be deactivated without any loss of functionality.

c) Profiling cookies: these are permanent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) user preferences and improve their browsing experience. The site www.mediberg.com does not use this type of cookies.

d) Third party cookies: by visiting a website you can receive cookies both from the visited site ("proprietary") and from sites managed by other organisations ("third parties"). A notable example is the presence of "social plugins" for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, and Youtube. These are parts of the page visited, generated directly by the aforementioned sites and integrated into the host site page. The most common use of social plugins is aimed at sharing content on social networks. The presence of these plugins involves the transmission of cookies to and from all sites managed by third parties. The management of the information collected by "third parties" is governed by the relevant policies to which reference should be made. For embedded content (therefore all video players from social video networks, widgets, social buttons in general): This site may use content from Youtube, Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Google+, Skype, Pinterest and Instagram, widgets or elements to interact with individual social networks and embeddable as needed.

Google Analytics
The www.mediberg.com site also includes certain components transmitted by Google Analytics, a web traffic analysis service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). These are also third-party cookies collected and managed anonymously to monitor and improve the host site's performance (performance cookies). Google Analytics uses "cookies" to collect and analyse anonymous information on usage behaviour of the site www.mediberg.com (including the user's IP address). This information is collected by Google Analytics, which processes it to prepare reports for the operators of www.mediberg.com regarding the activities on the websites themselves. This site does not use (and does not allow third parties to use) the Google analysis tool to monitor or collect personal identification information. Google does not associate the IP address with any other data held by Google, nor does it try to link an IP address with a user's identity. Google may also communicate this information to third parties required by law or where these third parties process the aforementioned information on behalf of Google. The user can selectively disable the action of Google Analytics by installing the opt-out component provided by Google on their browser.

Cookies duration
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active only until the browser is closed or the logout command is executed. Other cookies "survive" when the browser is closed and are also available in subsequent user visits. These cookies are called persistent. The server sets their duration at the time of their creation. In some cases, a deadline is set. In other cases, the duration is unlimited. www.mediberg.com does not use persistent cookies. However, by browsing the pages of the www.mediberg.com site, you may interact with sites managed by third parties that may create or modify permanent and profiling cookies.

Cookie management
The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies using the settings on their browser. Totally or partially disabling technical cookies can compromise the use of the site features reserved for registered users. On the contrary, public content can still be used after completely disabling cookies. Disabling "third party" cookies does not affect browsing in any way. The setting can be changed specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow you to define different settings for "proprietary" and "third-party" cookies.

OPTIONAL DATA SUPPLY
Apart from what has been specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide personal data in the request forms of the website www.mediberg.com or indicated in contacts with the Office to request informative material or other communications. Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what is requested. For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not subject to the ordinary management of this site) the Authority may request news and information for monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases, a response is mandatory under penalty of an administrative sanction.

PROCESSING METHODS
Automated tools process personal data for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access. www.mediberg.com respects the Reg. 2016/679 and, periodically, adjusts the control and data processing procedures.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES
The subjects to whom the personal data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (Chapter III, section III EU reg. 2016/679).
Pursuant to the same chapter, the user has the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their processing. Every effort will be made to make this site's functions as interoperable as possible with the automatic privacy control mechanisms available in some products used by users.
